Today was blissful...warm spring sunshine enticed the 2 girls to potter around the garden naked. Ella is into ‘gardening’ which involves trashing most of what i have already nurtured and cared for in pots on the patio. Am absolutely loving watching these 2 little people engage more with each other whilst engaging their world. After an hour or so both were covered in mud which had to be rapidly removed in time for Eli’s party. Eli is the first little boy to tell Ella he loves her. When we arrived early at his party he kissed her and said ‘ love you Ella’ – he is besotted with her!
Am savouring these moments – these days – when the girls seek me out constantly, love me madly, want to hang with me all the time...because I know that this too shall pass and all too soon I will have teens that want far less to do with me!
