Ella ate her first mouthful of rice cereal last night...not that it helped her sleep any longer! After the initial shock of a spoon of stodgy stuff being shoved into her mouth, she seemed to rather like it.
We did not have the energy to see the new year in. Had a quiet suburban braai with the Mills and Macallans. But we were all awake at 6 and on Muizenberg beach by 7.30. Played with kids, swam in the sea and visited Fishoek fam afterwards. Hopefully this is a great start to a great year.
